
Yesterday I got a call from a potential client.
He was looking for a ONE call closer.
I told him I had to be honest...that is not what I do best.
Furthermore...I asked him to reconsider a one call approach.
I mentioned that telemarketing has taken a big hit as of the last decade.
With all the bad press about telemarketing/do not call list/scams...etc...
ONE CALL closing is just now working even if you are Macy's and giving away $1000 gift certificates.
Customers are savy and reticent to obligate to anything via the phones these days.
Comes across like a scam.
So after telling him all this...he decided to change.
Told me many had tried to tell him this...but I was the one that explained it the best.
THAT IS WHAT I DO...I can get ANY point across better than anyone else via the phones.
